"WESTWARD HO'S CARING COMMUNITY"

HERE for LIFE is the branch of WHRAI that is dedicated to providing special events for the residents of Westward Ho. The name is an acronym for Humanitarian, Educational, & Recreational Events for Living In a Friendly Environment; and expresses the purposes for which WHRAI stands.

In the short time we have been in existence HERE for LIFE has sponsored:

A Potluck and FREE special prizes BINGO night on New Year's Eve 2002

During 2003:

A Valentine's Day Dinner followed by a low-cost Cash Prize BINGO.

A Black History Month Celebration (ethnic dinner followed by a movie about Rosa Parks)

St. Patrick's Day celebration (Irish dinner followed by a movie about the Irish Revolution)

Fourth of July Barbeque

Labor Day BBQ/Potluck

A Halloween dinner and movie

Holiday Craft Bazaar

Thanksgiving Potluck (with help from the Westward Ho Tenant's Organization)

New Year's Eve Dinner followed by a BINGO party

New Year's Eve Dinner and 5th annual Bingo Party
